My Best Photos of 2018

As I wrapped up 2018, I realised that the highlight of my year has been the work I created and all the amazing the people I got to work and collaborate with. The process of looking through, selecting and collecting my favourite images wasn’t easy as there is so much that I loved creating this year. But that realisation alone makes me feel really proud and fulfilled as a photographer. I cannot wait to see what I create in 2019, but for now, here is my 2018 from January to December in photographs.

#WildEyesHonestHearts: Why I'm Starting My Own Hashtag & What it's About.

I started a #wildeyeshonesthearts hashtag for creative & loving minds alike who want to build a community and a sense of connectedness on instagram. Day Out: Arundel

It was so lovely to just spend a day wandering about unfamiliar streets and using my camera to capture little memories for nothing but my own enjoyment, without any pressure for them to be great. Viva Lewes: The Way We Work - Yoga Teachers of Lewes

This December I was asked by Viva Lewes to take portraits of local yoga teachers for their January issue. Katie, the editor of the magazine, suggested that we capture these portraits in a sacred place - the outdoors. I immediately jumped to the idea. It sounded like something divine, and it truly was.

This was one of those days that remind you completely why you're in this 100%, with all your heart. And why you cannot imagine yourself even wanting to do anything more than this.

The other week I got to meet, photograph, and be photographed by Jess Mcghie, who is a very talented and whole-hearted couples photographer, and a beautiful human being.

John: Railway Lands - Portrait Session

Just an ordinary summer day, a walk around our local nature reserve, watching the sun set behind the trees. Whispering: 'goodnight, beautiful sun!'. Every day is full of magic. If you're there to watch, breathe it in, listen. Every moment holds a mystery. These photographs are full of those moments for me. Just the simple yet extraordinary sight of life, the moments of living & breathing, life itself.

Zeni: Hazy Fields - Portrait Session

We soaked in the sun. Let wind fly us to hazy childhood memories of carefree days spent running in the fields. We spoke of life, of growth, of staying true to who you are. We danced. Hair flowing in the wind. Sharing lessons we learnt, hardships we've gone through, we celebrated the majestic journey that life is. That of so much growth and so much change.
